"Innovative Family Engagement is Here!
Introducing Family Engagement On Demand (FEOD) – a powerful, all-in-one tool created to support busy families in guiding their child’s educational journey. From academic assistance to social-emotional support, FEOD offers flexible, accessible solutions to meet families wherever they are, whenever they need it.
CCS has partnered with Successful Innovations Inc., a leader in strategic family engagement solutions, to bring families, educators and students (Pre-K through 12th grade) an innovative, cloud-based platform. This dynamic resource delivers interactive resources and live-streamed content, covering a wide range of topics that empower families and educators to work together for student success.
Diverse, Easily-Accessible Sessions
With expert support and guidance at their fingertips, families will get access to learning videos and opportunities to participate in expert-led sessions on a wide variety of topics that support student success.
Topics range from “Supporting Your Child with ADHD” and “Strategies to Address Chronic Absenteeism” to “Safe Clicks: Navigating Online Safety” and “AI Demystified: What Parents Need to Know for Their Kids.” Each session is archived for on-demand viewing, providing families the convenience and flexibility to access content anytime, anywhere—whether on a mobile device, laptop, desktop or web browser.
Expert Insights for Educators & Families, Community Connections
FEOD also features expert-led sessions for both educators and families. These facilitators provide real-time engagement and feedback to families, while CCS educators can participate to further support their school communities.
The platform brings valuable community resources directly to families by hosting live-streamed sessions featuring community stakeholders as guest speakers. FEOD offers local leaders a unique opportunity to engage with families and share their expertise.
“Parents are busy. They are ‘on the go’ and this is a parent-friendly resource that regardless of whether they’re in the car-rider line or at the grocery store or waiting to pick-up their child from practice, they will be able to tap into resources ranging from academic success to social-emotional support and the list goes on,” said Dr. Lindsay Whitley, the associate superintendent of CCS Communications and Community Engagement. “We’re proud to offer a resource, which accompanies our CFA broadcasts, that truly meets our families where they are. It’s a game changer for ensuring our families feel supported and empowered every step of the way to student success.”
