Kindergarten Summer CampBeginning school is a big step in the life of every child. CCS’ Kindergarten Summer Camp provides an opportunity for rising kindergartners to attend a one-week camp before the start of school in August to help ease the transition from home to school. The camp’s primary focus is health literacy and encourages parents to complete their kindergartner’s health assessment and immunizations prior to entering school. Public Health School Nurses and community health agencies will be present at the required parent night.
