Image of Charla TrogdonMy name is Charla Trogdon and I am the new Assistant Principal.  I am honored to have the opportunity to work with the students, parents, and staff at Stoney Point Elementary School.  I have a passion for advocating for students and helping them reach their fullest potential.  I feel it is our responsibility as educators to instill strong academic skills while also meeting the social-emotional needs of the students.  With years of experience as an educator, it is a pleasure to serve our learning community and contribute to a successful school year in every way I can.

  • Breakfast for All Students:    Free
  • Lunch for Elementary
    • Free & Reduced Students:   Free
    • Full paying Students:   $2.15
  • Lunch for Middle & High School
    • Free & Reduced Students:   Free
    • Full paying Students:   $2.25
Applications are still required to qualify for reduced-price meals.

To enroll your child for the 2020-2021 school year, visit https://ccsncc.scriborder.com/ and select Student Enrollment- Elementary School (1 – 5) or Kindergarten. The application and required documents can be completed 100% online using a computer, phone or other mobile device.

Little Girl Sitting at a Table and WritingAge Requirements:  In order to be enrolled in a public kindergarten program in the state of North Carolina, a child must be five  years old ON or BEFORE August 31 of the year in which he/she is presented for enrollment.

All students must attend the school in the attendance area in which they live. Exceptions include special assignment as approved by the Cumberland County Assignment Office.

Immunizations needed: 

  • 5 doses of  Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis
  • 4 doses of Polio vaccine
  • 2 doses of MMR-Live vacine
  • 3 doses of Hepatitis B
  • 1 dose of Varicella
  • 1 – 4 doses of Haemophilus Influenzae (HIB)

Image of a Gavel on top of two BooksOnce again Stoney Point will be participating in Cumberland County School Battle of the Books Competition.  4th and 5th grade student have the opportunity to try out for our school’s team.  The Battle of the Books for the 2020-2021 school year’s competition can be found on Stoney Point’s Destiny Website.

        
Prime Time
